Has anyone got any striper reports for Boston or Cape Cod bay

On Saturday the 5th we went out to Billingsgate shoals and got a short and didn't see a lot of action so we shot up to the Race for the high tide. There were plenty of blue fish around but we didn't have any luck bringing any stripers to the boat and I was wonder if any one else had better luck than we did. I was thinking of trying to get out to Boston harbor or maybe the north shore this weekend. I hear a lot of big stripers are being caught out on Stellwagen bank, if the bait is out the then there is no reason for the cows to move in close to shore. Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

I also heard Stelwagen is hot. I usually fish the Race or Watch hill area & prior to the rain & T-stroms the Race was hot with large fish. We were culling (live fish) and throwing back 32" because they were small for what we had in the box.

Stellwagen is hot but your not suppose to target or keep any stripers but I hear 40 plus fish is pretty common. I think i will try the north shore this weekend and I will post a report next week

if your going north shore, try off rockport, were the lighthouses are, very rocky and big fish there, and also if go near newburyport, the mouth has been very good, a couple 50# yesterday were taken, 1 released 1 not!!
