Narr Bay 6/15/07 Evening

Left Allen's Harbor at about 7:00pm last night for a quick run out for some fishing after returning from my vacation last week. Didn't see any pogies around due to less than favorable siting conditions (little bit of chop in the bay). Ran up to Ohio Ledge. Water flattened North of the islands. Found fish on the ledge. Pulled an umbrella with storm shads on it. Got some small schoolie bass (kindergarteners). Also blues mixed in. The sun fell and I through some chunked pogies on and "chop - chop" started. Moved up to the deep hole West of Patience spotting fish again (chop chop). Back to the dock at about 10:00 last night.

Still some schoolies around but the blues are moving up the bay. I didn't go up into the river where I hear they are still catching some bigger fish.

I think I'll get my son out for some attempts at fluking this weekend sometime.
