Just got in and cleaned up from another fun filled trip! I had my Pops, long lost uncle (who is moving back from OHIO) and my bro's father in-law on board tonight. Like to say happy B-day to my bro but he was unable to make it out. The night started slow as last night did. It was difficult to get on the producing drift but that changed. We boat 18-20 stripes, the biggest was 38". They are getting bigger but not over forty yet. I know most catch bigger but they are still a blast on spinning gear.
Sorry for the same table but I forget to use the camera on the water. They are different fish!

Heading out to the bank on Wednesday to try and boat a tuna or Hotrod's 55" momma!

The Pink Pole!

There's a story about the PINK rod! I bought it for my wife as she said she would go out on the boat if she had a rod of her own a PINK one (think it was a challenge). I looked for a while and could not find a decent pink rod (exept Barbie & Cinderella), ended up having one made by OceanGirl. Rod was more than I'd pay for a lighter spinning rod. Then she wanted black line on the line. I am a power pro guy and they don't make black line so she got Fireline. She wasn't using the ole and it just sat there. I used it and hated the way the Fireline was, changed it to Power Pro aand now I 've been using it. Actually like to use it and people seem to ask alot "Who's PINK POLE?"
Good eye seeing it though!
