73 lb striper.

A true shame to waste a beautiful fish like that. I just started catching those beauties last fall and realize I now have to join A A - Anglers Anonymous.
I have yet to keep a short fish, I must have put back 150 last fall. They are here because of the management program, we must adhere to it. A big breeder like that would have been photographed and released, so some other addict could catch her and go Wow!

Way to go boatpete. Measure the length and girth also to get the weight with that foto.
btw there are resident fish in Bridgeport right now. Been there yet? Pull your arms out kid. 6-8 lb test and little jig heads.

I believe Maine has the right mind set on this. 1 fish per day 20" - 26" OR 40" and over
