| Striper Central For all you chasers of the linesiders, here is your "special" place to chat 'bout schoolies to cows. Long live the Striped Bass !! ... at least until it's baked with butter and bread crumbs. |
What have you got to say about the topic of: "What was your biggest fish this season". Here's how is started: "How big? where'd ya get it? what were you using?"

| For 2006, it would have to have been a 21# Pollock, caught in late winter (not real impressive by any means, but I spent most of this season scouting the eastern LIS area). ![]() I didn't fish for Stripers too much this year, so that'll have to do. Also got a nice 8# Fluke mid summer. | ||

Although I lost a nice Thresher that was ~250+ Didn't do much bass fishing at all but did get a decent one on a later trip..... 45", but a bit slender.... If my scale was right (battery was almost dead), it weighed in at ~29#.

Well since it was in Februrary I guess it qualifies for this year. I was the fish of a lifetime so far for me. I was in Florida on business and was able to get out for some fishing. She is now on my wall. 8'2" 105lb Sailfish. When I figure out how to post a pic I will. | ||
