For 2006, it would have to have been a 21# Pollock, caught in late winter (not real impressive by any means, but I spent most of this season scouting the eastern LIS area).



I didn't fish for Stripers too much this year, so that'll have to do.

Also got a nice 8# Fluke mid summer.

49pounds new haven harbor using live bunker

This was my wifes biggest. It was just under 40 pounds caught off of falkners island 3 waying live bunker

Same here (were on the same trip lol)

Although I lost a nice Thresher that was ~250+

Didn't do much bass fishing at all but did get a decent one on a later trip..... 45", but a bit slender....

If my scale was right (battery was almost dead), it weighed in at ~29#.

this one was 40lbs caught on lead line and a bunker head

this one was 34 lbs caught on a niner rig at the new haven middle break wall

My wife with a 30 lber at townsend ledge 3 waying live bunker

sweet bass.....I wish they came up this way more....a 40 lber in Maine would be on the front page of the paper! we caught a 550 lb bluefin....that was the biggest.......the best bass was an embarassing 25 lbs :confused1:

Biggest fish of the year

Well since it was in Februrary I guess it qualifies for this year. I was the fish of a lifetime so far for me. I was in Florida on business and was able to get out for some fishing.

She is now on my wall.

8'2" 105lb Sailfish.

When I figure out how to post a pic I will.
