| NBS Charters & Outings Here's where we/you can put together fishing ventures, be it a 6-Pack, head boat, private, whatever. Heading out and need/want more crew?, post up. |
What have you got to say about the topic of: "CANCELLED : 4/27 NB$ Walsh's Charter : GRRRR". Here's how is started: "I just spoke with Captain Walsh. The fishing is HORRIBLE (they only have 10 Haddock "

I just spoke with Captain Walsh. The fishing is HORRIBLE (they only have 10 Haddock all day today, not even shorts coming up). Combine that with the less than ideal weather for tomorrow (3-5', 15-20K E wind, rain) and he doesn't want to just take our money for a bumpy and wet boat ride, with no fish around. The reports are similar all over the bank area. Relentless was way south and the same thing, nothing. Most to all boats doing the same. The fishing turned off this week, for whatever reason, and hasn't come back to life. Walsh's has some openings for Saturday if anyone is dying to get out this weekend. I will be back online later today, and we'll post up for any opinion of what to do next here. Do we want to reschedule for another Friday, in May (I still have to get available dates)? ...or... Cancel it out, refund the monies, and try again in the early fall? I only ask the latter as I know ALOT of the guys are captains and boaters, trying to get their boats in the water. 7:05 PM Update: The overwhelming response is to cancel and refund. So be it (and I agree). We'll give it another shot in the fall. Sorry guys, the weather just didn't want to cooperate (nor are the fish). Sorry about this, but the Captain knows best, and ths fish just aren't biting, at all, and the weather will be less than ideal.

| This is a real bummer because my crew of four will not be able to reschedule this season . I hope we can try again next year. I am almost ready to launch my boat and I am going to try and get some fluke fishing in here before the tuna and shark season starts. This will be a short season for me because my daughter is getting married in Chicago this fall. I hope everyone has a good season and I'm sure I'll see Eric and some of the other members an the water soon.Dave | ||

| DONE DEAL. NB$ Trip Cancelled for the spring. Refunds will be going out as soon as I deposit the cash back into my bank account. Too bad, but it is what it is. I am guessing that while we wanted to get out, it was still the right call to save ourselves from a long wet boat ride, with no fish biting. We'll try another trip scheduling in the fall. | ||

Brad and Jim, Please take my $120.00 and donate to NBS to help continue running this awesome fishing site. If anyone is really looking to get out, I still have room on split charters and open dates for regular (private) trips. Respectfully,
