I found the problem Armand. Your posts weren't deleted, they were being auto "moderated". When I setup the new Usergroup = NB$ Advertisers, I set a privilege incorrectly. Just fixed, so all should be good now.

The rental rods/reel are heavy setups. They work, and they're decent quality, but not real sensitive. Good for hanging heavy lead, but tougher on the bait bite, but even then, the weight is a bit much.

It never hurts to have a good deep water groundfishing setup. I've got a few, with my preference being my 8'2" Custom Rod (built by Unclemeat [Sean]) and either my Newell R533 or Daiwa Saltist 40. The Newell is lighter, and more comfortable for a long day's jigging. I would like to pick up a Penn Baja, but I just can't justify another reel right now ... LOL

Do you want me to put you on the list?

Possum, I would love to tell you I am in 100% but unfortunately for me I may have to go to PA that week (work). If spots are still available... it will be a last minute decesion.
