We are trying a new thing this year, after much success from the vessel last year during the annual squid run. We were able to put incredible catches together, as we could move with the pods, rather than waiting for them to show under the lights from the docks/piers. I have 4 boats running, and we have tons of bookings already! Price will be $75.00 per man, including tip. Boats leave dock at 8:30 pm, and return sometime after 3am.....Hardcore jiggers need only apply We are booked solid this opening weekend on 2 vessels, but have slots available for Sat. and Sun. in limited numbers on the remaining two boats. Boats include a 31' Blackwatch, a 28' Contender, a 27' Intrepid piloted by Capt. Billy Silvia of Can't Imagine charters, and a 24' Ros custom piloted by Capt. Paul Triolo of Amanda Sportfishing. Call 401-862-0358 to book today!!

| What are you doing for sizes? Are they mainly juveniles at this early date? Young squiddles are better for eating, but I'd be looking to freeze some baits. | ||

| Its all loligo at this point, perfect eating sizes. The larger squid tend to be around more prevalently than tyhe tinies the first week or so. "tubers" average 12 inches and the smaller "tuna bites" are roughly 3-6 inches. Typically we get anywhere from 2-4 5 gallon buckets for each guy, anywhere from 40-100 pounds plus. Pefrect for loading up your freezer with choice baits, and a few delicious meals as well. It is truely the last "no limit" fishery available to the average guy...... The boats are also available for private booking. Any member booking through PM will get $50 off whole boat private charter, or $15.00 off open boat fare.......

We use very light tackle(whippy rods and 8 pound test, and they attack the jigs pretty hard. Very fun on the light gear, and great way to insure you have the very best baits all year long...Tubers for fluke, tinies for tuna and bass......

| Price includes rod, reel, first jig set up(more available at reasonable cost), tip, and ice for your coolers afterwards. Boat will be limited to 5 maximum anglers on larger boats, 4 max on the 24' For anyone who hasn't tried squid jigging, it is addictive!!!

| Oh yeah, just like reeling in a small MAKO LOL. Sorry, I couldn't resist that Donno'. I love squid. Last year I filled a 150qt. cooler. If anyone wants to try some very reasonable priced squid jigs I found on ebay the link is: http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQ...idjigwarehouse | ||

| They've been getting them here on the west coast lately. These were caught just last night, off Oceanside Pier. There's a concern because they are eating everything in sight. http://www.scsurffishing.com/forums/...ic.php?t=18864 | ||
