!!

Terry contacted me again today, to express his thanks at the genrosity of the NBS crew. It has been a slow winter, and we all helped out greatly with our generous tips. Thanks to Frank Martell(fishark531's buddy) and Chris(sportcommercial08) for also lending a hand on the table. I was happy to help out Terry, with all the fish brought up by the crew he needed it. Terry is a great guy, a hardworker, and deserves to have a good money day every now and then. Our generosity did not go unnoticed, as he stated it was by far the best money day for him in a long time. He was going to buy his son Brandon a new rod and reel as a result, so the generosity went alot farther than just someones pocket!! That is what it is all about.

Chucks Secret Weapon

I was up in the wheelhouse and Chucl came up asking Jim if he had a lav 16 oz jig that Jimmy could sell him. Jim did not have any and I told him I had plenty and Chuck requested to purchase one from me. I told him, they were not for sale but he was welcome to use either a 14 oz or 16 and please just go into my bucket and return at end of day. I did tell him though that if helost it , he could than buy it . Chuck picked up a great fish on the jig and I am glad I was able to help him out. At the end of the day he threw me $20.00 in appreciation and he kept the jig. I could not say no to him after winning the pool. Congratulations Chuck and I believe you are on board the RELENTLESS for the Stellwagen Cod and Haddokc trip in May with Brad, Jim, Roy etc. I look forward to seeing you again.

Thanks to everyone who put this trip together. Trip was a blast. It was great meeting everyone and hope to fish with you all again soon. I broke my cod goal for 2008. My goal was 25pounds.I got my biggest cod to date it when we weighed it on the way in it went 30lbs bled so I'm guessing 33 un bled and Eben got his biggest cod ever.

My cod

Chuck, looking forward to May. On another note, nice meeting you Chris and congratulations Eban. Being on the bow and driving out part way yesterday I did not get much time to talk to you guys. These are great looking photos and I had a blast yesterday. I hope to fish with you guys again one day.

This weekend is shot for working on RELENTLESS witht the weather. It is looking like next weekend Easter dinner will consist fo ham sandwiches under the boat with a pait roller, getting that bottom paint on. I hope to be in water after next weekend with first trips for Stellwagen Cod and Haddock on April 4th. Please be good to me wather gods.

Glad this did not go unoticed I noticed many fish well over 22" going back to swim again without as much as a measurement or a second thought.

Once again great trip and effort by the NBS crew
