Wash out this week, but some info

I am still trying to get a regular offshore gang as most of mine have thier own boats now. Wednesday trips to the tuna starting at 3 a.m. on my 31 Albin out of Niantic with a great track record. Had a crew for this week but the seas are a tad oncooperative.
One boat from the marina went right down the middle then to the 1,000 fathom line and saw no signs of life on Saturday. My guess is not far west enough.
If anyone is interested in being on a trip list (tuna split trips run around $150 a person with a close to 100% catch rate from July to the end of September. email me at leochomen@sbcglobal.net. i post trips on Saturday, though the target is every Wednesday. We go with 3-4 people and return to the dock at 5. In mid October we switch to wreck fishing. The boat holds the Connecticut state records for Pollock and Cod and we are targeting Marlin this year. had one small blue last year and broke off a huge one.
