| What about mussles These guys are very availiable around the CT shorline. How about receipies for these guys? Plugmeister swears they are excellent bait for togs if you steam them so they stay on the hook. I have yet to find the time to try it. I think if I get to steam them I am going to do the eating but anyting is worth being tried atleast once. ![]()

| Bait???????? Let the togs find their own damned mussels LOL. Steam them in a can of beer. When the shells open they're done. Another is some garlic, onion, in water. Only need about an inch or so of water and they are done in a few minutes. Mussels are my FAVORITE shellfish!

| Steam them in white wine & garlic, fry some bacon & crumble in a zip lock bag. sprinkle the bacon pcs., parsley & parm cheese over the muscles, and spoon the wine sauce over them. Yum Yum! |
