Next time just put it in the fridge

Cold Cold Cold

They won't stay alive in any water that is not airated
keep them as cold as you can yes seaweed or wet newspaper will help keep them cold overnight in fridge as said earlier just put them in a brown paper bag.

I usually put a layer of empty cans in the bottom of my cooler then put some ice in put the lobster on top of the ice and put a wet towel or newspaper over them and open the drain plug so that as the ice melts the water leaks out. I have kept some this way for two days.

hope this helps

Veggie drawer of the fridge!!! If you want to keep them in a cooler, as mentioned by others, ice then a damp towel or news papers, then the bugs. I ussually try to keep the drain plug on the cooler open and angled so any melting ice is drained off. I have driven 40 lobsters to Texas in mid july with out losing a one with this method.

The veg. crisper is the way to go. When I was a kid we always had lobster in the crisper. It is funny to see someone go get something out of the refridgerator that doesn't know the lobsters are there. They jump pretty high when the see something moving in there.

put the lobsters UPSIDE DOWN on ice. they will last for a while had them last 5 days like this offshore fishing. once you flip them over they will move again do not leave them regular way on ice or they will die even if you drain the water.
