Great day of fishing!

Things broke wide open for this morning around here. Fished the incoming for two hours and landed at least 15 fish over 30in. No real monsters (the biggest was 38in) but consistent fish over 30in on a fly is a real workout... Looks like the wind will keep things interesting for the next few days!

Congrats Criscal, thats awesome! My PB on the fly is only 30" so far, that 38" must have felt like a whale. What weight rod were you using?

Hey 88 Sportcraft thanks! The big fish this time of year are much fun on a fly rod! This time of year I use a 10wt with a heavy sinking line (550grain) and big flies out on the rips, and a 9 or 10wt with an intermediate line for shallower water. I feel the key to getting the big fish is getting the fly down deep, and using big flies (like 8in)!

Cant wait until the wind dies down to hit it again!
