Nice Flies Love the big eyes on the anchovie! If you don't mind me asking what are the eyes on the bay anchovie? Are those dumbells?

Hi 88, Thanks....No.... the eyes are 3D stick ons from Spirit River. I super glue them on. I'm using the gel type, easier to work with.

Thumbs up

Nice! Always seems to me big eyes get more action. Found a great technique for mounting eyes on squid flies at the Fly Show in Mass this year, when I have a chance to try it I'll post some pics.

One thing I forgot to mention....I epoxy the eyes too. I drop the epoxy inbetween the eyes, on top and bottom. It creats a nice round head. It also helps the fly dive.
