| Bud n Mary's Islamorada We returned Monday afternoon from our annual Islamorada trip. The weather was great but we did have some wind and big seas. Day one we fished with Captain Augie Wampler and mate Eric on the "predator" .After finding some floating pallets we had nonstop action on school size Mahi soo thick we couldn't get at the biggins."sinkerman" did manage to pull a wahoo out of the pack. Then we hit some small tuna skipjacks and some real small blackfin. Day 2 we had 3 boats in the back counrty but fishing was real slow we did manage some nice seatrout and had some spinner shark action. Day 3 we fished half day on 27' Conch CC with Capt. Hunter. He worked his tail off and found us some yellowtail, mutton snapper and some amberjacks. We ate our catch at Lazy Dayz and Bentleys. Can't wait to start planning next years trip. |
