The Block Island Times SW or NE take your pick... always a bunch of boats at either end you'll have no problem finding them.. Watch the rips on the NE.. and the line on the SW. | ||

| for leisurely fluking, the channel into great salt pond and points south of there all the way to the SW corner are usually very productive......then troll the SW corner, bell bouy east to black rock for the linesiders. if you got no wire try light tackle t&w or swimmers on braid bumping the boulders in the skinny water. good way to pass a hot summers day! usually good fishing with beautiful scenery! cheers!......cap'n mick | ||

| Small report on BI fished 1 afternoon wife and daughters had a different agenda for me. took kids out for squid in New Harbor at night loads of fun there are thousands of them if you can throw a cast net! fished out side New Harbor for Fluke no dog fish just a few skates and short fluke "just short" kids were disappointed returning 18" fish. plenty of fish but we ran out of time all in all a great long weekend! | ||
