The "Ruins"

My friend was watching TV "On-The-Water" and the charter boat came out of New London. They were fishing somewhere around Fisher's Island in very shallow water using live bunker. The area was called the "Ruins". It is not marked on any chart I have but I did hear form members talk about this location in the past. Can anyone provide the Lat-Long of this location? Probably too far for my small ride, but am still curious as they caught very well there. Wondering if the same technique would not work well in closer grounds using live scup?

the ruins are in the gardiners bay area off long island. check charts for that sector. popular fishing area, old military practice site.

Thanks guys,

I found it thanks to you. I was looking at the wrong island (Fisher's Island); it was just where you described it to be.
