I havnt seen much of his stuff, but the one clip I happened to watch was when he took his boat out ALONE to troll yellowfins. I have never seen a madman talk and scream at himself like that! And then yell at the tuna and high five himself. He is a freak! very entertaining though

I'll have to say hate him… only because I'm so jealous that I can't be him. I mean, the guy sells private jets for a living ($$$$$$) and has the free time to go running around the world and killing stuff with his homemade bow and arrows. I think my favorite show was wild Boar hunting in Texas with nothing but a Bowie knife! The guy's a nut bar, and if you can take tolerate his ego and bravado, then I suppose his show can be infectious. Just my 2 cents!

He is the balls! He was canyon fishing as a 20 year old from his 20' mako! He would fill the boat full of gas and a 55 gallon drum with gas. He would run the boat to the edge drop the fuel in the water tied to a poly ball. Fish all day and fill the boat with Bigeye's and then retrieve the gas and run home. That is awsome.

I like the milk and cereal episode with Oloff. Canyon breakfasts are the best.

By the way Jim the hiney thread needs to be re-opened. That might be some of the funniest chit i ever heard.

Agreed, awesome and INSANE at the same time. Tred Barta is one of a kind, and I do like watching some of his stuff. He's a bit on overload, but that's just his style. I guess I too am envious to a degree.

I like the fact that he hunts with a "longbow with cedar arrows", however I've seen him on numerous occasion take less that iffy shots with it.
Fishing ... I don't know many who would/could put up with him on a small boat...someone would end up in the drink.

Love him. He may seem like a know it all, but if you watch him while he is being guided, he listens to every single word the guide says.

I like his stuff.....over the top, but very entertaining! His articles are usually very good too.

Doesn't pull any punches.
