| Bliz Lures : NBS Partner Site I am sure some of you know of Bliz Lures, and the quality and effort that goes into their product lines. Don "Bliz" Blizard and I have been discussing this concept for some time now. We share a common vision in trying to change the paradigm of this forum space and help to mitigate the "plug wars" environment as much as possible (competition is healthy, but animosity and attacks are counter productive for all). The Bliz Lures site is going to be the first direct partner site of NBS Sportfishing. We are going to promote each others sites via links on our home pages, and links within our forum communities. NBS membership is encouraged to visit and join the BlizBlog, so that we all can demonstrate what this is supposed to be about, knowledge sharing and a love for fishing. We will also likely be partnering up in upcoming trade shows and working together to build out what we collectively want to see in the forum environments.  The BlizBlog is their forum environment (it is just starting out and would benefit from our support), and there is much planned for that space, with manufacturers coming to the table to be part of the community and avail themselves for question and answer sessions. There is much that can be shared between our 2 forums, and I hope that the membership here will assist in supporting this effort, as again, it really is a shift from the mainstream fishing forum community, where it is competitive, to the degree of significant animosity and literal attacks on people. Those that stoop to degrade others publicly in order to make themselves look better should question themselves, as what is really being accomplished? One should stand on their own merit, based on their own positive, forward moving, actions. This is something that both Bliz Lures and NBS Sportfishing have had to deal with, yet we both prevailed, and will continue to do so. This is one of the many issues that has spawned this cross promotion, and we hope, that over time, it will become more common place in the overly competitive, and possessive, fishing based forum spaces. We can all learn and gain much from each other, if we cooperate and collaborate, as each board has information, experience, and expertise that we can all benefit from. We don't all have to like each other to share a common enthusiasm for a sport that we all love.
