A truck load of fish cakes right there. I was a commercial fisherman in Scotland for 12 years back in the 70's and 80's. Man the pollock we used to get, I mean 50-80 tons and everyone of them in the 8 to 12lb range. Their close cousin the lythe which looks identical except that the skin is golden brown on the back and sivery gold on the belly made for great sport fishing off of the rocks below the local cliffs. Medium spinning tackle 15lb test loaded ABU cardinal on an 8' spinning rod. |
