    Buzaards Bay run is on

Around 1700 I found what I thought was a huge school of Bluefish. Boy was I wrong! One of the largest pods of Stripers I have seen in years. It was about the size of a football field.

Poppers brought nothing but 2' fish to the boat. Swimming plugs seemed to scare them off. Trolling around the pods on the outside got some serious hits but no takers. In the morning we're going to tube & worm and see what happens.

Well, I went out twice yesterday including 0400-0800. Skunked. No blues, no schoolies, nuthin.

Guy I know kept a small Striper that he found in the belly of a 13lb Bluefish. Talk about desperate!
