RI TOGS the way WE DO IT! PICS!!!! L@@K!!!

Just to show you how WE do it! LOL

Left at first light with crabs and eels on Inheritance with my father and my friend Chris......

Headed down by Narrow River to throw a few eels. Dead down there. 30 minutes of that crap and I said F-this lets go Toggin' now LOL.

Headed to my favorite spot and once on the hook, and about 15 minutes into it......COMMENCED BAILING THE TOGS.

All by ourselves, having driven past the usual flocks of boats (that flock together purely because they see other boats so "there must be something going on LOL")....

Caught 21 keepers in the first couple hours.

Better than 90% were 7-8 #ers! All REAL nice fish.....best showing of big togs yet. The next couple hours we finished out our limit of 30 fish, plus a few bonus Seabass!

Half-filled the 150 qt. cooler.......I'm effin tired...had a lot of filleting/cleaning to do! 5-Gallon "PAIL" (that's for you Jim) of skinned fillets.

Beautiful day out there except for the ******* in the Grady in Wickford Harbor that doesn't know navigation rules.....a few (OK way more than a few) choice words and gestures from me, then he yells "Come on over here!" As we start backing up towards him, he yells "Chicken!" and starts running away HUH? Douche. Not worth chasing at that point. Cracked a beer, took a leak, and headed back to the slip after fueling.

    I'm tired.....I'm sure the other 2 were also.....great day!

    No unknowns LOL

Most of the choggies went to the gulls (they have to eat too) and we had quite a few small seabass, with 3 keepers......only 2 scup.

    Was pretty much a "shit-fish-free-day"

    Thanks Tony!

    Chuck.....

Seabass weren't huge but an inch or 2 over legal. My father loves them (one of his favorites), so we kept them....I like 'em too, they're just not one of my faves......if you fillet them carefully you do get a real nice little slab of white meat

I should have added some specs in my first post but I was tired (or as ROY the frenchman says.... "I am Le Tired!" )

    Anyway...

    Weather: Gorgeous LOL
    Water Temp: 59 degrees
    Depth: 61 feet
Bait: Green Crabs (& red lol)
Rigs: Single Hook rigs (2/0 Gammy Octopus) with 4 or 5 ounces on 30# Fluoro
Spot: A rockpile (OK, it's outside the bay LOL)

It's kind of a slap in the face the "moon" mounted thing.
not that it was mentioned, but that the fish wasn't "MOUNTED"
NEXT TIME MOUNT THE DAMN THING!!!!!!!!!!
