    Talking Westbrook Togs & Stripers

What a great Day Sunday! Finally not bad weather with light winds on a weekend. Started out drifting bunker at SWR which was shredded by blues. With so many dam blues around we decieded to hit a local rock pile for togs. Started out alone but were soon joined by 4 other boats which really sucked because my partner in the boat doesn't know how to help anchor on "the spot" so we weren't able to move over the 80 feet that we should have. the boat ovrer there was doing a lot better than us but we did manage 4 keepers up to 7 1\2 pounds between the 2 of us. As the tide started to slow I decieded to hit my favorite slack tide tube and worm sopt. The big girls were there and we ended up landing 3 of the 6 we hooked up on. 2 40 inchers and a very fat 41 inch bass that was about 30 pounds. This was my first full season with the 21 foot Striper that I bought from Chuck and there were more bass 40 inches and up put in that boat this year than I have seen in the last 30 years! looks like only one more trip if the weather co-operates. I have some hunting to do.

    Tight Lines,
    BK

Nice! You guys are getting a better fall bass run than we are......I think they somehow bypassed us.....not as active as it should be.

Nice Chuck....like he wants to have to think about your DNA in the V-Berth

The Vberth has been disenfected since Chuck had the boat. I have been single for almost 5 years now. So I don't have to be cramped in the Vberth. I usually fish in the boat and do indoor sports at home.

It was a great day to be on the water.

The only way to disinfect the v-birth from Chuck's dna is to set fire to it. Anything else and your asking for trouble.
