    Fiddler Crabs

Decades ago, fishing togs with my Dad, we often used fiddler crabs for bait. Does anyone use them any more? Anyone know what they are? Any bait shops sell them? BTW, we caught our own. (translation---we were poor)

All fishermen lie, except you and me, and sometimes I'm not sure about you.

Yeh I know what they are.....had a lot of them where I grew up, if you went up in the marsh in the mud.

Never used them, mostly greenies. Haven't heard of anyone selling them.

Years ago we'd go into the marsh area at the local beach with a cutoff broom stick about 4 feet long and stick it the mud behind the holes it would chase the crab back out .There quick lil buggers
