Well, some days you are in the game and other days you just can not do anything right. Yesterday and today were two completely different days and nothing like Saturdays cod and pollock massacre.

Fishing on Saturday from NJ was Charlie Terefenko along with his brothers and friends. I hate to say it but the day was slow for RELENTLESS and a few other boats. Others had limits of cod and those pollock. Now it was not like it was a total bust by any means however not what we are use to.

By the end of the day the guys did go home with a reasonable amount of fillets. This is why it is called fishing and not catching.

Today was a different story with a shared open boat charter made up mostly of NJ anglers and a single from NH. Fishing today was Bill Stabile and his friend Dave and Dan and Dottie Clark all from NJ and rounding out the group was NBS member and long time customer Jeff Reis of NH.

The fishing was once again excellent with near legal limits of cod and plenty of pollock for the entire group. It is amazing what a difference a day can make. All of the fish were caught on top of the bank on jigs and teasers.

The weather will be tricky this week as a big low is hanging around making the mid week a little iffy but it could change by then so we will remain optimistic. We still have availability for shared charters coming up Memorial Day Weekend and other dates. Check out our shared (open boat) calender Share-A-Charter and email us if interested in either a shared or private charters.

Respectfully,

Capt Dave
