    Togs 10/3-4....

    ?10/3
Left Clinton harbor yesterday morning and hit one of the local reefs.
    water still a little warm!???!?
We managed to get 9 keepers and many shorts.
Used asian and green crabs in about 30' of water.
    No big ones.

Left Clinton harbor to get a couple hours in toggin' this morning.
Three of us managed 8 fish. Threw 3 keepers back kept five for suppers.
Only fished a couple hours. No big ones.

Will be back at it in the morning and let you know how it goes.

Bob & Mag, there are jumbos to be had but WOW is it spotty. Nothing in a few old reliable spots and then a bunch of keepers at some little hump you never tried before. Strange.
All fishermen lie, except you and me, and sometimes I'm not sure about you.

    Cancelled trip on Thursday.
With a stiff nne wind, the spot we hit is too rough for the skiff and my back.
    Today doesn't look any better.
    Today
NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft.
    Tonight
NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt. Seas 3 to 5 ft. Tides running 1 to 1 1/2 feet above normal may produce minor coastal flooding around the times of high tide.
    Sat
NE winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt. Seas 2 to 4 ft. Tides running 1 to 1 1/2 feet above normal may produce minor coastal flooding around the times of high tide.
Looks like next window for me is Monday, maybe Sunday.
I'm looking for under 2' and less if back is sore LOL.
